Ecovacs DEEBOT T50 OMNI Gen3

A robot that vacuums and mops with two spinning pads, paired with a dock that washes the pads in 75 °C water, dries them with 45 °C warm air, empties the dust into a 3-litre bag and refills the small tank on board. The dock does not dose detergent: it is added by hand to the clean-water tank, and the two 4-litre tanks are filled and emptied by hand. Along walls, one pad plate slides outwards until it sits about 1 mm from the edge, so the skirting line gets mopped instead of left as a dry strip.

The body is 8.1 cm tall, because the laser distance sensor sits inside the shell rather than in a turret: it fits under many low sofas and beds. At the front, a structured-light sensor reads the shape and depth of objects, and the robot cleans along their outline instead of giving them a wide berth; the product page also mentions a colour camera, used for edge cleaning. On rugs it lifts the pads by 9 mm, and it climbs thresholds up to 20 mm. The brushes are designed not to wrap hair and pet fur.

It is controlled from the ECOVACS HOME app, over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only; without the app, the buttons on the robot still work. Account data is stored on servers in Europe and the United States. Security updates are guaranteed until 27 March 2029, and the battery is replaced through customer service.
