Dreame D20 Pro Plus

The D20 Pro Plus vacuums and mops in the same pass, paired with a dock that only empties the dust box into a 5-litre bag, good for up to 150 days without attention: the mop pad stays outside that care and is washed separately. A laser turret on the lid builds the home's map; a second, line-laser sensor spots furniture and objects on the floor, with no camera or microphone on board. The main brush is a pair: a bristled rubber roller for grout lines and a TPU rubber one for carpets, both designed not to trap hair and pet fur.

Mopping is handled by a removable pad under the 350 ml water tank: an ultrasonic sensor recognises carpets and rugs on its own and raises suction, but the pad does not lift, so it has to be taken off by hand before those areas. The robot climbs thresholds up to 2 cm and, once the battery runs low, returns to the dock before resuming the interrupted run.

The filter rinses with water and is replaced every 3-6 months along with the pad; the main brushes last 6-12 months. Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only, and voice commands go through Alexa, Google Home or Siri on a separate device, since there is no built-in assistant. It suits someone who wants to skip emptying the dust box but is fine washing the pad by hand.
