Working with CobotCompare
On CobotCompare, every robot has a sheet with data verified one by one. For those who make or distribute home and garden robots, here are the ways to collaborate — and the terms, stated clearly before starting.
One condition is non-negotiable: no commercial agreement influences editorial assessments. We don't sell positive opinions, we don't remove verified critical notes, we don't offer privileged positions. If you don't accept this, it's fair to know before writing to us.
Current status, no beating around the bush
Today CobotCompare has no active affiliate relationship with manufacturers. Proposals are welcome, but a partnership doesn't change how a robot is published or assessed: it's included because it's relevant to the person buying it, not because it brings in a commission.
Affiliate programs support the site: we're happy to accept them, and they don't change a single word of our assessments. A discount for readers who come from here? Always welcome, never required.

Send the technical documentation
We don't run lab tests: sheets are built from the manufacturer's documents. The manual, the spare parts list and the update policy answer the questions people ask that spec sheets don't cover: how long consumables last, how much they cost, and for how many years the robot receives updates.

Report a wrong value
Noticed a wrong spec on one of our sheets? Fixing it is the highest priority, with or without a commercial agreement. We need the source: without a verifiable reference we can't update.

What we never do
- We don't accept payment to write positive reviews.
- We don't remove verified critical notes at a brand's request.
- We don't change assessments in exchange for commercial agreements.
- We don't grant privileged positions in comparisons or results.
- We don't hide affiliate links: every commercial relationship is disclosed.
