The Robot Vacuum X20+ vacuums and mops, paired with a dock that empties the dust box on its own into a high-capacity tray (rated by the manufacturer for up to 75 days without intervention) and washes the mop pads by soaking, spinning and scrubbing them with water jets, then air-drying them at the end of the cycle. The 4-litre water tank cuts down on frequent refills. LDS laser navigation scans the home in a 360° sweep, and a structured-light system detects low obstacles even in the dark, easing passage near furniture and skirting boards. On rugs the pads lift themselves by about 7 mm, so carpet is not wetted.

The robot still works for basic cleaning without a network connection, but full mapping, multi-floor map saving and resuming an interrupted run require connecting it to the Xiaomi Home app. It connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The official page does not specify whether Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands go through a separate device or a microphone on board the robot. It suits someone who wants to be free of both emptying the dust and hand-washing the pad, in a medium-to-large home.
