iRobot Roomba Max 875 Combo + AutoWash Dock

The Max 875 Combo is the flagship model in the Roomba lineup: it vacuums with a hair-cutting bristle brush and an anti-tangle side brush, and mops with a roller (PowerSpin Max) that spins while spraying hot water. The AutoWash dock empties the bin by itself into a carbon bag rated for up to 90 days, washes the roller with 80 °C water, dries it with 55 °C air, drains the dirty water and mixes its own blend of clean water and StayClean detergent concentrate for the next run: the most automated dock in the lineup. A LiDAR turret on the lid builds up to 3 maps of the home, even across different floors.

At the front there is a camera that powers object recognition (PrecisionVision, rated for over 300 obstacle types): the manufacturer does not specify whether this processing runs on the robot or in the cloud. The mop roller extends beyond the robot's body to clean right up to walls and furniture. When it detects a rug, the robot lifts the mop and lowers a protective shield to keep it dry during vacuuming.

It suits someone after the most self-sufficient dock in iRobot's lineup, including automatic detergent dosing, and who is comfortable with an active front-facing camera used for obstacle recognition.
