eufy Omni C28

The Omni C28 vacuums and mops with a rolling mop spinning at 270 rpm, paired with a dock that handles most of the upkeep: it empties the dust bin into a 3-litre bag, washes the roller and dries it with hot air, and doses the detergent into the water tank by itself. It navigates with a rotating LiDAR that maps the home, while a separate laser-line sensor guides obstacle avoidance: there is no camera and no microphone on board.

The dual spiral-profile brush is designed not to wrap hair and pet fur, cutting down on manual upkeep. The robot connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is controlled through the eufy app, as well as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant via a separate smart device.

What is left by hand is just topping up the detergent in the dock and, occasionally, cleaning the sensors and charging pins. It sits in the middle of eufy's range: it washes and self-cleans like the pricier models, but without the hot water wash the manufacturer reserves for the models above it.
