eufy Omni E28

The Omni E28 vacuums and mops with a rolling mop, paired with a dock that empties the dust bin into a 3-litre bag, washes the roller, dries it with hot air and doses the detergent into the water tank by itself. It navigates with a rotating LiDAR and recognises obstacles with a front-facing RGB camera paired with an LED: there is no microphone on board. A side brush extends on its own towards edges and corners, alongside the dual spiral-profile anti-tangle brush that cuts down on hair to trim away by hand.

The robot's own clean-water tank is small, just 120 ml, and the dock tops it up from its own 2.5-litre tank during the cleaning run. The stated charging time is 3.5 hours. The robot is controlled through the eufy app, as well as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant via a separate smart device.

With a camera on board used for obstacle avoidance, the manufacturer does not state whether images stay on the device or go through the cloud, nor whether the model offers privacy controls beyond what applies to the brand as a whole: anyone who cares about this should check before buying. It is the flagship of the Omni C/E range, with the extending brush and the camera that the cheaper models in the same family do not have.
