The Freo 20 vacuums and mops with a track mop continuously rinsed by sixteen clean-water nozzles, so the pad does not drag collected dirt into the next pass. An auto-reversing side brush works alongside a mop that extends past the body to reach skirting boards and furniture legs; on carpets the robot does not declare a mop-lifting mechanism, so a pass over a rug risks dampening it. Navigation relies on a LiDAR described as hidden, without the rotating turret the brand shows on other models in the range, together with two RGB cameras that recognise over 300 object types; there are no dedicated structured-light sensors.

The dock empties the bin by itself into a 2.4-litre bag rated for up to 120 days, washes the circuit with water at 100 °C and dries the pad with hot air at 60 °C; floor cleaning solution is still poured in by hand, since the dock does not dose it. On board there are a camera for obstacle avoidance and a microphone, components listed in the manual with no mention of a physical shutter or a separate switch to disable them. Wi-Fi covers both 2.4 and 5 GHz, and the companion app is called Narwal Freo.

The battery charges in about three hours and the robot climbs thresholds up to 4 cm. The manufacturer does not state this model's runtime in minutes or its noise level, and the international-transfer section of Narwal's privacy notice speaks of more than one possible region, not only Europe. It suits someone who wants a dock that washes and dries on its own without tending the detergent, and who accepts handling carpets manually.
