LG CLOiD

CLOiD is the home robot LG introduced at CES 2026, as part of its 'Zero Labor Home' idea: a home where appliances and robots handle repetitive chores. It has a head, a torso with two jointed arms and a wheeled base that steers itself, using the same technology as LG's robot vacuums. The torso tilts to raise or lower the grip point, so the arms reach objects from knee height upward; each hand has five fingers that move independently.

In the CES demonstrations, CLOiD takes milk from the fridge and puts a croissant in the oven for breakfast; when the occupants go out it starts the laundry, then folds and stacks the dry clothes. The head carries a display, a speaker, cameras and other sensors, and connects to the ThinQ ecosystem to control LG's other appliances: at home, the robot sees what it is doing.

CLOiD was shown in a reconstructed home space on the stand, not offered for sale. The launch announcement does not give a launch date, a market or a price, and does not say whether the tasks shown are carried out by the robot on its own or by a person guiding it remotely.
